My first job: childcare

Well, you see, it all started when my mom had to start working full time...I was already home schooled so I 'got' to stay home and watch my younger brother and sister... and cook, clean, do the laundry and dishes...and then my aunt would have me babysit her 3 kids a lot as well. I made like $2-$5/hr while working for my aunt and was happy to have it! I was picked up and dropped off because I wasn't old enough to have a DL yet.
I wouldn't say that job was any easier than the one I have today. It was stressful, I mean you try keeping 3 kids and 2 dogs in order for an entire day while cooking and cleaning (good luck) and see how you fare! It isn't sitting around eating chocolates and watching soap operas! ...that is probably why I don't have kids to this day...

I Found My Thrill...

Spring Time, originally uploaded by oshngrl.

...(sung to the tune of Blueberry Hill by Fats Domino)...

I found my thrill on Daffodil Hill
On Daffodil Hill where I found you
The moon stood still on Daffodil Hill
And lingered till my dreams came true

The wind in the willow played
Love's sweet melody
But all of those vows we made
Were never to be

Tho' we're apart you're part of me still
For you were my thrill on Daffodil Hill

The wind in the willow played
Love's sweet melody
But all of those vows we made
Were never to be

Tho' we're apart you're part of me still
For you were my thrill on Daffodil Hill

Some flowers I took pictures of at Garvan Gardens. I have no idea what they are, but I like 'em!

In defense of my vice: Etsy

Etsy Visualization: All Etsy Members with Avatars August 2005 by jared

It all started when my husband said, "Hey, I think you would really like Etsy," and it has continued to grow into an addiction. I have to log on daily to see what is new and what favorite was purchased by someone else so I can be upset. I wouldn't quit unless I was always broke and had no money- but even then it is fun to browse.

I'll spend my golden years in San Diego, CA

San Diego has perfect weather year round, there are tons of awesome things to do there, you are close to La Jolla.

Ideas

You know, I really like the idea of a blog, but hardly ever find the time to do anything with it. I follow so many blogs by other people and I love them! They are more technically inclined than I am I think because they have such great pages and links! Ah well.
